Course Overview

 |
This two-day course is designed to assist asset integrity managers with achieving maximum production capacity at the lowest life cycle cost while maintaining the long term integrity of their assets. The course will present techniques designed to improve the effectiveness of asset management and integrity activities to ensure that physical assets perform their required functions, operate reliably and thereby support corporate goals and objectives. The session will also focus on new methods and techniques and participants will gain an understanding of best practices for the most critical aspects of asset integrity management.
1.6 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 16 PDH (Professional Development Hours)

 | | Tom Van Hardeveld, M.Sc., P.Eng | | Thomas Van Hardeveld has more than 33 years experience in many aspects of the operation and maintenance of oil and gas equipment such as gas turbines, compressors, pumps and other rotating equipment with additional experience in maintenance management of all types of equipment as well as reliability techniques and risk and integrity management. In addition to a long career with a major gas transmission company, he has been extensively involved in Canadian and international consulting and training activities. He is actively involved in standardization activities with the IEC/TC56 Committee on Dependability and was primarily responsible for a new standard on Maintenance and maintenance support that was published by the International Electrotechnical Commission in 2004. He has co-authored books on Pipeline Operation and Maintenance and Pipeline Pumping and Compression Systems, both published by ASME Press. |
