Course Overview

 |
This two-day course is designed for engineers, geologists, technologists and operations personnel and presents the foundational principles of hydraulic fracturing. The course includes a review of theoretical components of fracturing, but places a significant emphasis on candidate selection and design fundamentals.
1.6 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 16 PDH (Professional Development Hours)

| Instructor(s): |
 | | Lyle Lehman | | Lyle Lehman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. He has been principally involved in tight gas stimulation throughout his 30+ year career, which has taken him from West Texas to the US Mid-Continent and Latin America. Lyle has written more than 12 papers on various aspects of stimulation, including rock mechanics, frac fluids, conductivity and economics surrounding decision making in stimulation design and field development. He has been credited with 5 patents, with several patents pending, all in the area of stimulation. Lyle has principally worked as a consultant throughout his career, in addition to being Product Manager for Stimulation and Drilling and Completions Practice Manager, both for a multinational service companies. He is currently involved in managing projects and business development for a Houston based engineering company. |
