Course Overview
This 5 day course offers instruction on planning, designing and executing Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) projects. Participants will learn to proactively manage annular hydraulic pressure profiles to mitigate risk/costs associated with drilling in narrow, downhole environmental limits. The course is designed for professionals involved in the drilling process, including engineers, drilling managers, planning and design departments, management and operations personnel. Case histories from actual projects are designed and analyzed in workshops using proprietary hydraulic simulation software.
4 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 40 PDH (Professional Development Hours)
A complete set of course materials and lunches are included.
