This is the process for attending an online session:
- Register for the course and note the dates and times (click the "Register" button near the top of any page on our website)
- On the date specified, follow the instructions in your confirmation notice to join the online classroom

All of our live online courses are scheduled in the Eastern Time zone (GMT -05:00). New York is in the Eastern Time zone, so if an online course is scheduled for 10:00, then it will start when it is 10:00 in New York. To find out what time it is right now in the Eastern Time zone, click here.

Are the online courses self-paced or self-study courses? |
|
No, all of our courses are live and in real-time. You need to join the sessions at the designated times, just as you would if you were attending a course held in a classroom.

Do I need to use the telephone to listen/speak during the course presentation? |
|
No, all voice communication is handled by your computer, so you just need one of the following: headset, headphones, or speakers. There is no option to dial-in on the telephone for the audio portion of the presentation.

Can I register for a course if I do not have a high-speed Internet connection? |
|
Usually, no, due to the bandwidth requirements of the training platform. However, if you have no other means of connecting to the Internet and you would still like to take the course, some exceptions may be allowed (contact us to see if an exception can be made for you).

Online courses show a start date but no finish date. When does the course end? |

Will I receive any training materials if I take an online course? |
|
You will be able to download the course notes and/or other materials from our website for the courses you are registered in once the course is complete. In some cases there will be worksheets that you need during the course that will be made available ahead of time.

How do I enroll in a course? |
|
Click the "Register" link in the menu bar near the top of any page on our web site, or the "Register for this Event" button on the Event Details page.. You will receive a confirmation letter within two business days containing further instructions.

How are the online courses run? |
|
Courses are split up into 2 to 3 hour segments over a number of days. All sessions are recorded and will be made available to registrants of the course for future viewing for 30 days.

What is the difference between a session and a course? Why are there so many sessions? |
|
Our online courses are broken up into several sessions instead of solid days of instruction. Each session of an online course is a segment of the entire course, so you should attend all of them. The price of the course includes all online sessions for that course.
An Online Seminar is a single 2 to 3 hour session with no other dates or times required to attend.

How do I attend a session? |
|
Instructions for attending an online course are included in your confirmation of registration. If someone else registered for you, that person was sent the confirmation e-mail including the instructions for attending. If you have not received your confirmation within two business days, please contact us.
